Description
This is the title illustration for my short story, The Desert at Galaxy's Edge .The main character is actually NOT the guy in the vehicle, but the armored woman (officer Jarrett) on the left. I don't usually write women as the main characters of my stories (I just really like men, I guess
) so this was new and fun for me. And what's more: I really like the way she turned out. The creature on her arm is a Kliig-a telepathic beast that can be trained to tell when someone is telling the truth.
