It would have made more sense if I posted it before posting the final Vera but whatever. I colored the hair and colored the face.Related content

Omg, the concept is as cool as the final! I make concepts very messy and never really end up making the final look exactly or even close to the rough draft, haha. You did great planning here, though. Great job!

Thank you! Well, our original drafts were very messy, in fact the very first one (which I don't even know if I've posted) was pretty much a scribble. Of course, since it was a mural, our final concept had to look EXACTLY the way we wanted to paint it so that we could project it on the wall. Thanks again!

You're very welcome! I'm not entirely sure if you posted it, but I'll look around! Lol, well that scribble helped a lot, I bet. I do my rough drafts the same way lol. Yeah, good thing you got that organized and exact because I could never follow my rough draft, I just get ideas along the way. What I do probably isn't a good thing to do when painting, haha.

It may have been mixed in with some other doodles or something. Yes, that is true. Everything's gotta start somewhere! And that's all fine, man. There's no real rules in art and paint can be pretty forgiving if you want to change something while working on it. Even though Emily and I had to have an "exact" draft of Vera to project on the wall, we ended up changing it a bit as we worked. Mostly there was one point where we painted over and re-did the nose.

Ahh, alrighty thanks for the clue! Haha, thank goodness for paint then. Ohh, really? At least along the way, you changed it enough to still keep its beauty. Gosh, thankfully you could correct things, because my worst fear is permanently messing up something that is important.

You are welcome! Yes, I am so glad it's opaque and can cover mistakes up. Yeah, we were gonna try to shade the nose and add bigger nostrils and we didn't like the way it looked lol. I totally understand, it's a freaky thought.
