Yes, this is a crossover couple.Yes, I am shipping this.
Dib from Invader Zim and Mabel from Gravity Falls. I ship this.
Both are polar opposites (condering Dib's personality is almost EXACTLY like Dipper's), but yet both often encounter the supernatural. Mabel would probably like a somewhat serious, but easily excitable person like Dib. And Dib would like someone as cheerful and as positive as Mabel, to cheer him up from all the misery he faces everyday.
She and Dipper would also probably the only other people who would believe that Zim is an alien, and probably help Dib to stop Zim's plans to take over the world.
Also, there was suppose to be a background, but I couldn't think of what to do and just left it blank. Fail.

I'm working on an idea for a fabulous multi-universe crossover comic that'll include Dib as a central character. Dipper and Mabel were already gonna be included, but this makes me want to give them a slightly bigger role. Just for some shipping. :3

You're right about Dipper and Mabel believing Dib about Zim being an alien.
Somehow I think Dipper might not be as willing to stop Zim when he sees what an idiot Zim is.

I have this idea of doing a GF/IZ crossover one day, with Dib helping Dipper investigate something while Mabel flirts with him constantly. And he's just all

You have put far too many wrinkles in their clothes, especially considering the fact that Mabel wears sweaters. Dib's right hand is too small, and overall, it would do you good to look at actual hands to help you. You should probably work on making necks look more natural. I would suggest establishing a collar bone on your sketches. The thighs seem short as well. As for the higlighting- especially on the hair- I would highly recommend experimenting with layer modes. I ALWAYS use Overlay or Soft Light modes for shines like that.
And I had the same problem with lineart that you seem to have here-using raster programs like GIMP and Photoshop for lineart is far more difficult than it needs to be. It usually involves going back on your strokes with exact precision; just like traditional drawing. Even then, the result is often not as crisp and solid as you may have intended. I would suggest using a vector program like Paint Tool SAI. This is REALLY helpful: [link]

And thank you for the link. I find it difficult to draw anything without making a whole lot of weird strokes over and over again, even with a tablet, since my hands can't keep steady. That tutorial was quite helpful for me.

I tried redoing the picture a little, although I didn't manage to change the anatomy much (Mabel still looks like she's floating and her limbs still look too short). Care to see it?
