Just a quick ref I did like a week ago. I just got distracted with other drawings and I completely forgot to color it.
His design might change a bit in the future, but for now I kinda like it.Β

hmmm... I may like this even more than the later ones. Mainly due to the Feet; his hind legs add a lot of prominence to his character.

Yeah, I might end up doing more references for this character in the future, but for now I feel satisfied with this ref sheet. If I want to change anything in his designΒ or maybe if I feel like my artwork has improvedΒ then I will create another ref sheet for him.Β

Most of the work was done in sai, so you got nothing to worry about.Β

That's really easy to do, you don't need photoshop to do it. All I did was look for a picture on the internet of a hexagon and I used the bucket tool to change the color of each individual hexagon.Β
