Description
This shot is a testament to the fact that sometimes it just cannot matter how tired you are or how long of a day you had. You have to get out there when the light is right. It wont wait for you. Cant get a shot sitting on the couch.3 shot pano.

Spot on in fact..Scrolled up till gutter on building was at top of page..funny how once your eyes 'see' something like that its hard to covince them otherwise.. your friend is right,with a little imagination those sticks spell l.i.v.e, Well??? maybe a fair bit of imagination.lol

I love the sky, but what I really am drawn to are the bits of dead branches in the water. They seem to be spelling out some cryptic message in a language that none of us speak. Very intriguing!

You are the FIRST that saw the same thing I did with this one. I thought I was crazy to have that sky in front of me and still be drawn to those branches. It seems my choice of composition is gonna pull the focal point away from them though. Maybe those branches won go anywhere and I can do a bit better with this location.

I hit things hardcore with the camera this weekend Jon...no waiting around on a shot for me mate. This one is fairly close to straight off the camera. No HDR on this one...just the stitching and a few minor tweaks. Very honored you like this one!

It was so overcast that I couldn't do anything. I'm thinking of going out again tonight if the clouds stay away. Will probably be in the same situation, though. Clouds are moving in for the rain tomorrow.
