Looking back at this specific work, Iβm happy that this is my most popular deviation (because I worked REALLY hard on this). While I now feel that this isnβt close to Freedom Planetβs overall sprite style, Iβm still happy with what I made.

I'm glad you noticed the style I was kinda going for. Mario's sprites are altered versions of the M&L rpg 4/5 sprites, but done over the main freedom planet character sprites in terms of movements and design. I am making custom stuff to stay true to the Mario style. I haven't got to the walking sprites yet, but I plan on getting to them soon.

I wouldn't say "Get your hopes up", but there may or my not be a chance it'll happen. Lilac has some awesome stuff to basic some of Sonic's movements on, so there is a good possibility. But after this spritesheet, I'll be completely drained. This is one of the biggest projects I've ever worked on.
