So, Garry Brown, one of the artists behind the series Scream: Curse of Carnage, confirmed that Marvel has cancelled the series as of issue 6, with no plans to release issues 7-10, effectively leaving the series unfinished right as they were starting this new arc 'Suffer the Children'.Of course I'm bummed about this, I was really enjoying the book, and let's be real here, you don't just start a brand new story arc and then just leave it hanging like that. How would Andi and Scream take on the Demagoblin? Would Andi have been able to save the lost children of New York? Who is 'Guinevere' the new girl who appeared at the homeless shelter, and would she and Andi have developed a relationship? (Is Andi Bi or Lesbian??? COME ON MARVEL, I GOTTA KNOW!)
Regardless, I think the creative team behind Scream did an amazing job with this book, and I'm at least glad Andi got her chance to shine. I just wish it could have gone on a bit longer.
Also, yes, this is an homage to the last page from Ultimate Spider-man: The Death of Peter Parker (just replace Uncle Ben and Peter with Flash Thompson and Andi)
