this is a good 8 or 9 hours in and it's still gonna take me a little while to finish. i didn't spend very long at all on the drawing and now i'm starting to realize that the only way to fix some stuff is to completely redo them(the face mainly). i'm not sure if i'm gonna bother yet, i might just try to tweak it the best i can. one thing that's giving me trouble is that i don't really like the girls face that i'm painting, so i'm trying to make changes to it and i've never done a face in oils that i'm happy with. with drawing i can usually make girls look better than they actually do, my painting skills are definitley not there yet though. the snake has been fun so far, but i know it's gonna drive me crazy when i start getting to the details.
