Nocturne is a skin mod heavily based on lastFoodly by Kabuki by me, dsync89. This is my second skin following Amadeus.
Nocturne performs the best with a large music collection library with proper tags and album arts. Also, the multi-pane structure of Nocturne itself is best viewed with a large screen estate, e.g. 1280x720 or above.
Nocturne has been updated to version 1.1. Please find it here .

Dude you must have WAY too much time on your hands. Seriously though - awesome work. Here's my complaint!
Last winter I spent many hours learning and experimenting with a whole range of fb2k configs - some of the names I remember are catrox, dark one, silent night, nuala.... It started innocently enough with Columns UI, then it was ELPLaylist, and before I knew it I was spending hours working through Panel Splitters and WSH Panel Mod and the marc2003 scripts and next thing I know I'm trying to learn how how objects and functions work, jscript, and so on. It was all very entertaining and educational but eventually I decided I wasn't really getting anywhere insofar as actually making a functional music player for myself. So I too a break for a couple months to just pay attention to how I actually listen to music and figure out what functionality I actually need.
So a few days ago I come back the world of fb2k skins and I know what I need to do. I have a plan: simplicity will be the key - after all, I have a very specific way of accessing my music collection, so I will cater to that and leave out all the other bells and whistles I never actually use. And then I see your Nocturne 1.1. Two days later I'm right back in the deep end with way more complexity than I need or want. But it just looks SO good..... Sigh. So far though, it seems to actually *also* be functional, which is even more impressive. So once more into the brink - crawling through skin-code trying to tweak this, remove that, and make everything just exactly perfect (for my own use) without breaking things too badly. Totally going against my whole plan of Keeping It Simple, dSync89.....
If things work out I'll definitely drop a little something in your Paypal box....

Very nice skin. I had a black lastfoodly version made for myself a few years ago based on the Star Trek lcars interface (image google "lcars foobar2000" to have a look). Your version seems to add extra functionality compared to Kabuki's original. however it seems to have some bugs, in icon mode the icons at the right side don't show. Also the lower panel does not seem to retract when going to "text mode". Console
continuously gives "Error: Image draw failed (h_iml)".
This console error is also kinda strange: Columns UI: Error loading image "C:\Users\Gary2\Desktop\foobar2000-lastFOODly\skins\Kabuki\Images\White\Buttons\icon-action-refresh.png" - Object not found

I used foobar2000 1.2.9 and the newest 1.3.1 with the same results.

Hello there Jazztheive. Sorry for being absent for nearly 5 months since your comment. I'm now actively developing this skin and is now proud to release Nocturne v1.1. It includes many fixes and eliminates all the problems you mentioned. Give it a try and vote it if you like it :-P

Hello, damn good skin, I must say!
Have a couple of questions, Where do I install the fonts? In the foobar programs folder...? Also, the only cover art that is displayed in the albums view or anywhere is for mp3 and wma files. No cover art for flac. And the album art quality for mp3 in the album flows view is very poor...please advise, and thx for your help. Forgot, when I click on enter in the album view, nothing plays.

I'd love to try your skin, but, unfortunately, I can't fugure out how to install it. I copy everything to the installation folder, uncheck Safe Mode, rename the file...and nothing happens. I use 1.2.9 version. What am I missing? Please help.

Hey there jiraffick, I am now including a portable installation for this skin. So this would save you the hassle from configuring it yourself. I also included a manual setup guide in case you would like to retain your current foobar2k settings. Ring me a bell if you encounter any questions should you decided to do it the manual way.

Hi there Nafalem, it is now disabled since I believe it would obstruct the beauty of the Album Flow view. Do download v1.1 now and gaze at its beauty :-P
Note that v1.1 mostly revise upon the Discography view instead of Album View. Future updates might enhance that view should many people demands it. I personally stay at Discography view 99.9% of the time.

Where is the .fcl or .fth load for this skin? Please help me find the solution, thank you. I really love your Nocturne very much!

I got it! Copy configuration folder to the directory %userprofile%\appdata\roaming\foobar2000.
But I get WSH Panel Mod - Scripting Engine Initialization Failed... Please help me find the solution, thank you very much.

Hi, you will need to uncheck the Safe Mode option in the WSH Panel option. Go to Preference by pressing Ctrl+P, then navigate to WSH Panel Mod and uncheck Safe Mode option. Hope it helps.

After installation I have this message:
"Failed to load DLL: foo_plorg.dll
Reason: This component is missing a required dependency, or was made for different version of foobar2000."
