My first CG of Joe. Plenty of anatomical mistakes

there aren't really anatomical mistakes, only the lining for the muscles inside the body's just mistaken. Other than that, awesome work!

References don't hurt, but I'd never outright copy something
Just doesn't give any satisfaction. If I'm going to draw something, I'll do it in a way that will challenge me (hopefully without being too hard that I just give up...haha)

It took me ages to get to a stage where I felt it was right. So out of practice now, but I've actually got some more VJ art in the works. Hoping to make it a little more like the official art, but as a vector so I can make hi-res wallpapers.

Eh, anatomy shmadamy. Come on, the game was in chibi cormat, so anatamy donsnt matter. THis is AWSOME. I fell in love with this game like, just moments ago after looking it up on youtube, and I have to tell you, there isnt enough art on dev for Viewtiful Joe. Nice work! D

Apparently Red Hot Rumble is poor though, so I'd stay away from that. The adventure games are amazing.

Did you just buy portal or the Orange Box? I'm looking out for a cheap copy of that on 360. Can't wait to play all the games on it.
You should be able to find VJ1 pretty cheap somewhere. I'd definitely start with that. VJ2 is also great, but Sylvia is almost useless in it. The DS game was pretty good.

Grr. I just got the game to day for the pc and.... it dosnt work on my computer. >: I need a coputer that reads dvds as well, so yeah... our computer cant, so once agian I just spent my money on somthing that wont work on our le-tarded computer. Thats happend like, a million times now. I should just quit trying. >:

on computer? I didn't think Viewtiful Joe was released on that.
I got the gamecube version. There's also a PS2 version (which includes an additional bonus character), but I've heard that the gamecube one is much easier to control and therefore, more enjoyable
Provided you actually get the game to work, you'd have to have a pretty good USB controller to really enjoy the game.
See, this is one of the reasons I gave up on computer games a long time ago. You need to spend more and more money to ensure games work. And unless you spend yet more money on a decent controller, you're stuck with a dodgy keyboard to awkwardly play games. In addition to this, you have to sit and wait while the game installs, then get patches or whatever for it to keep it working, and actually make sure the computer is up to speed to handle the game in the first place. Plus, if something happens to the computer, you could lose your games AND personal files.
With a console system, you don't have any of those problems. Besides, the last generation of consoles should be really cheap to pick up 2nd hand now.
I just assumed you were playing it on a console. Sorry to hear about all the troubles it's caused...
In the meantime, maybe leech some gaming time from a friend if they have a copy of the game.
