Description
This is my character/Key moment entry to Atomhawk's Solarpunk contest, along with my process. The scenario I posed is below:

Pollution and climate change goes largely unchecked for another century or so, and as a result ice caps melt and the sea level rises. The rising water floods farms and other low-lying areas resulting in a food shortage and oil shortage, and the air becomes somewhat toxic. Society switches over to solar power but in order to address the food crisis a private team of bioengineers are tasked with creating photosynthetic humans, and in the course of several decades the first successful Plantarian is created from the cells of the leading scientist.
