EDIT 2: This is REALLY late, but another deviant let me know that she's actually done this idea already (and multiple times apparently!)(shadobabe.deviantart.com/art/W⦠) So I just wanted to give her props for being ahead of the curb!--------------------------------------------------------------------

This idea randomly popped into my head while I was in Statistics. It was such an obvious concept that I wondered why I'd never seen someone draw it before...so like a hipster I drew it. (this couldn't be avoided, xD)
I had the impression that if they swapped shoes as well, Sonic wouldn't be able to figure out how to break using the hover shoes, and Shadow would be slow as dirt.
(Maybe SEGA should make a Sonic Re:Colors)

And If they changed shoes, I think Shadow kinda needs the rings to keep ALIVE same with the ones on his gloves because he is a created life form, so Shadow would probley die and Sonic would really want his "runners" back. So they really shouldn't change shoes. And it would destroy me because shadow already gave up his EPIC BLACK FUR AND RED STRIPES for blue and I don't want him to change his shoes too.
