So I assume a lot of you know that I'm a huge Starship Troopers fan (the book not those abominations they call movies) and have done my own design of the mech suit. I've been wanting to design my version of the warrior bugs and finally cracked down and did it this week. The bugs were so much cooler in the book...dude everything was cooler in the book!
Man I am seriously contemplating doing a little fan comic of one of the chapters of the book! Anyhow had fun doing this. Sketch done with ball point and HB pencil

Thanks man! Yeah Starship Troopers are in for a hell of a fight for sure! The bugs are badass in the book, and yeah they have Particle beams and makes starships. They are NOT to be taken lightly.

So it's a non-manufactured creature? First thing I thought was, WOW badass bio-mech!

Yeah I would say many sci fi epics, including Mass Effect have borrowed heavily from Starship Troopers and Heinlien novels in general. I love reading his books!
