(I'll pick giant, but I'll let you decide what kind of male giant you want to be. My character's decription is long brown hair tied up in a ponytail and brown eyes. White/tan skin and average figure, but she's more nimble than strong. Her height will be 5'8 )

Dusk glances to see something of a giant size, but it hides again, not getting a good look at it at first. Gripping her spear, she walks up and gets ready to defend herself as she approaches whatever she thought she saw a moment ago,

(idk why but everytime i try and reply it does not show -.- continuation from last time...)

He suddenly felt anger and embarrassment in her words, she had no right to come into the town he felt, for if she did come in it would cause a panic! "I am sorry miss, but MY job in this town is to keep guard and make sure that no one disturbs the peace, and if i know what you mean by "Wanting answers" i think thats "disturbing the peace". Now why don't you slither back from where you came and leave the slums and the city..." He knew this was all in vain but he felt the seriousness in his voice would get this creature out of here and back to his crummy home in the slums...

(( I dunno, there's a weird stack of copies of this same message in my inbox, they're definitely sending, albeit DA being glitchy. ))

She was a little taken aback by the man's response, his sheer bravery and seeming lack of fear almost frightening her. However, the last part of his speech, the sheer disrespect in it and the connotation of her having to return to the Hell that had been her existence since her expulsion from the lab in which she was created, slinking along, eating whatever rotting scraps she could find, constantly hiding from the military that she was certain was out to get her, having nearly everyone that she met run from her...she could NEVER go back to that. She hissed and continued in an enraged tone: "Listen pal, I have no intention of going back to that life, ever. So you really have only two choices: help me get into the city, or-" she was going to finish the sentence with "or die" but knew that that was neither in line with what she would do to the man nor was it going to really help the situation. She continued: "...or I'll be forced to make you help me. It's nothing personal, pal, I've got nothing against you, just with the people who dropped me like a hot potato when I turned out to be different than what they wanted. Now, are you gonna help me or not?"

He sighed as he realized his options: He couldn't really run and she didn't seem to wanna back down from her stance of revenge "Alright, alright i'll help you, not much choice anyways..." He muttered enough for her to hear "just get me down to the gate controls and i'll open it for you, but i don't think you can waltz right in to the city without getting zapped and made into some zoo attraction... so your going to have to use the sewers, luckily for you i know my way around it like the back of my hand"

"There, now was that so hard?" she said, placing the man down next to the control panel and staring at him expectantly. "As for getting zapped or made into some sort of zoo animal..." she motioned to her midriff and shoulders, which, upon closer inspection, were covered in healed-over scars, "I've had worse. I'm just looking forward to get some answers from those bastards..." she hissed as she watched him.

His eyes flew across the control panel, seeing the main gate lift controls he pushed the button, the rusty gate creaked open, sending piles of dirt and trash down from when it last went shut "There, it's open I hope you do not need any other assistance?" He said with a edge of hopefulness in them

"Hmmmm....no. Just..." she didn't want to say it exactly as it would ruin her forceful tone and air that was working so well for her so far, but she felt that she had an obligation to say it anyway. "Just...don't get caught or hurt or anything on my account...and thank you." she gave him an awkward smile, making it obvious that she was no master of social interaction, then slithered off into the city...

It wasn't long before the news got out and soldiers were flocking to the B9 district, where apparently some sort of monstrous experiment had gotten into town. It also wasn't long before the creature was hailed with bullets and tranquilizer darts, sending her into a state of unconsciousness, but certainly not without a fight. The mutual decision between the units was to send it to a place where it could be held without fear of its escape, instead of sending it back out to the junkyard beyond, as the creature had both shown a strange distaste for causing damage or defending itself, only injuring a good 10 soldiers of the several platoons that came, and killed none of them. Also, the person who had let such a thing into town was in need of investigation as well, and perhaps the creature could provide answers. With the help of several large construction vehicles, they were able to move the creature to the B9 district zoo, which recently had an opening in a subterranean cave after its resident population of meerkats had been shipped to the A7 district zoo. The large underground tank had been cleared out of the dirt and tunnel system of the mammals and was now just a large, hollow dome with a single skylight leading out to a small, above-ground savanna enclosure, which they were certain that the large creature couldn't access anyway. They left her there...

She opened her eyes slowly, her body feeling as if it had been stuck with hundreds of needles. She groaned and slowly sat upright on her coils, taking a look at her surroundings. She was in some sort of dome, with a light on the ceiling...no, not a light, a sky-light. She looked up into it, seeing the far off ceiling of the metal plate that separated the district above from the district below. Confused and dazed she looked away from it and down at herself, brushing spent tranquilizer darts from her body and scales. She wasn't alone, however. She heard the muffled sound of a child's ecstatic cry, and turned to see that one side of the dome was actually a thick pane of bullet-proof glass, and through it, people were staring in at her. She hissed to herself and turned away from them: that man had been right, she was in a zoo, she'd been caught. She could only hope that perhaps, someone would be willing to listen to her tale of woe or that news would get about her and that someone who was involved in her creation would surface. In the meantime, she had to find a way out...

((sorry 'bout the length of that one))

(It's alright...)

He watched slither away into the B9 district, a short while later hearing gunfire, screaming and tranquilizers being fired "Oh no..." He jumped down from the panel and ran towards his house to get his spare ammunition and civ clothing he ran into his house and got his old cloak and duster, tipping a hat down to hide his eyes he slipped into the city, knowing his job was now forfeit

Going through alley ways he looked around, the B9 zoo being on the other side of the district he knew he would have to cross the main street, dashing through the street as fast as he could he heard a man curse and the screeching of tires, his eyes widened as he watched a truck carrying meerkats veered off towards a house! it tipped over, sending the meerkats out of the truck and climbing up houses to escape, in the general confusion he had slipped into another alley, face to face with a couple of mercenaries! "Well lookie here boys! it seems to be that rotten brat who owes us some money, and also seems to be in trouble with the law!" The man who seems to be the leader says "We going to go give him to the law?" One of his henchmen asks "Naw... we'll pit him up with the naga!" He says, they tie him up and knock him unconcious, forgetting however to disarm him they rush off to B9 zoo

The next time he wakes up he's inside of a large cave, slowly opening his eyes he peers around, trying to locate where he is, after a little bit of grunting and yanking he finally free's himself. Rubbing his arms he walks around in the dark "It must be closing time" He mutters, hearing his own voice resounding in the caves...

She continued to slither along the walls of the cave, feeling the edges of the room with her fingertips, trying to find anything that might denote an exit or an air duct, anything that could be of use to her for either escape or communication with the people beyond the glass. Eventually, she came across a part in the wall along the side farthest away from the glass viewing-area, that somewhat weaker and thinner than the area around it. The people in the glass area watched her with a combination of awe and fear. Rumors had been flying for years about monsters created by scientific experiments in the more dangerous parts of the City, but to actually see that it was true...

The naga slowly ran her fingertips over the weaker spot in the wall, then applied a little bit of pressure to it with a soft tap using two fingers, which caused that section of the wall to collapse in, causing her to jump back and a few people in the viewing area to move back, some even running out of the enclosure, fearing she'd tear the whole place apart. She placed her right eye close to the hole, finding that through the new opening was an older, less worn-down part of the tunnel system that had apparently not been used in some time. She could smell a human scent down in that cavern, and wondered for a moment if anyone was there, which she almost immediately dismissed as ridiculous. Who would be down in some random tunnel in a zoo?"Anyone home?" she jokingly called into it, expecting no response.

Hearing some place of the wall collapse he jumped, hearing something jump back as well... There was a long silence for him until he heard someone jokingly call from the entrance "Anyone home?" Soon he realized it was the Naga! Smirking he walked out of the entrance of the hole, looking up where he thinks she is he batts his eyelashes. "Well, I was about to take a shower but you can come in if you like" Chuckling a little bit he looked around the bigger cavern "Well at least I found you again, when those soldiers talked about "Throwing me in with the Naga' I thought they meant some other giant lizard that I didn't know about..."

She laughed warmly at the man's little joke, but most of all she was surprised at his appearance here and for a moment she thought that she might have been going mad, but when he stated something about soldiers throwing him in with her, she asked "Wait...there were soldiers that threw you in here? Aren't you in the military? Wouldn't they leave you alone, or help you? Wait, no....they didn't find out, did they?! Ugh, I'm so sorry, I just made you lose your job...they're not going to take your house, are they? Is your family going to be ok? I'm so sorry..." Admittedly, she was panicking. Not only had she left herself get caught, but for all she knew, the man whom she had bartered with for a way into the City and had hoped would be okay was now most likely going to lose everything...she'd always figured that in the City, no one ever would ever do anything but live in luxury, but here they were attacking each other...she turned to the man, looking him straight in the eye and said: "I can't possibly begin to apologize enough to you. I promise, I'll make this up to you, somehow."

He smiled warmly at the Naga's concern for him and chuckled "Where did that tough girl attitude go? shall i look at your breasts to see if i can get the same reaction?" Smiling he looked around the place for a way out as he talked "Anyways, they probably kicked me out as soon as i opened that door for you... Oh and I kind of live alone..." His smile dying as he said that, his only family was a girlfriend and she died of some disease... "For my house I have no idea since it is MY house, I kinda payed for the deed, not many people do that but I had to..." His frown deepening as he thought about why he had to and not his neighbors "And you don't have to apologize, I probably would have let you in anyways if you told me your story... I don't like people like that, even though I DID work for them..."

((alright, so I'm assuming you're okay with a female guard then?))

Delilah sighed and leaned her head back against the heavy steel gate behind her. This shift was always so uneventful and rather grating, what with the constant smell of rusted metal, rotting garbage and the sound of more being dumped out here from the trash chutes above constantly, but there really wasn't much she could do about it: when you get assigned a shift, there's no arguing it unless you want your family to lose their home and reputation. The city was brutal like that. She slid down along the wall to sit on the ground, taking her large, sniper-rifle-esque gun off of her back to make herself more comfortable, when she spotted something moving out from a nearby pile of rubble and scrap metal towards her. She raised an eyebrow at it, figuring it to be another one of the thousands of rats she had seen around this place time and time again, but just as she was about to wave an arm at it to shoo it away, she noticed that this thing was a little different: leaning towards it a bit as it got closer, she could see that it looked almost humanoid. Strange, that didn't seem right...as it got closer she almost shook her head to try and clear out the hallucinations she was sure she was having: the thing looked like a tiny person! Could this be one of those weird experiments the people on Alpha shift had warned her of? He didn't look all that dangerous, but he was approaching the gate, and she knew her responsibilities, so she looked over at the boy and stated, as emotionless as possible: "Hey, you're not allowed in there. Just lettin' you know."

As he moves to get away she turns and follows after him: "Hey! Didn't I just say that I have some questions to ask you!" she managed to catch up with the boy easily, but as she fell to her knees, trying to grab hold of him to question him, she found that it wasn't as easy as she thought: he easily dodged her grabs and was incredibly fast for his size, capable of dodging under her arms and through her fingers without any trouble. Eventually, she got frustrated and finally just wove her fingers together and slammed her arms down in front of him, which he slammed into after finally being worn down enough by all of the dodging before and she finally got her chance. She reached out and grabbed the boy with her right hand, wrapping her fingers around him and slowly getting back to her feet. She looked down at the little boy, attempting to keep her voice steady and said: "Now then, may I ask just what you are? I've been on this shift for a while and I've never your kinda' people around here. And why were you trying to get into the city? You'll just get crushed to death in there, somehow..."

His hurried and nervous reply struck her as odd: he was looking for a cure to being tiny in the city? Was it even possible to reverse such a thing? Could you even take a normal person and make 'em small like that in the first place? Were those scientists really doing stuff like this? This was all too weird..."Well, um, I'm normally not allowed to let outsiders into the city, sorry. And besides, how am I supposed to know that you're not lying, that you're not going to sneak into a power station and sabotage it, or help other outsiders into the city? Sorry, but my duty is to protect the city, and unless you can prove that you're not a threat I can't let you in."

She was still skeptical about the tiny boy's request and didn't really want to just let a random experiment-gone-wrong into the city. For all she knew he could end up going to nearest administrative office or power plant and sabotage either, and all the evidence to how he got in, if he got caught, would point back to her...but still, the poor guy had this look in his eyes of loss and fear. Something about him made her feel sympathetic: perhaps he reminded her of an old friend or a family member, but she couldn't quite pin it down. After some thought, she spoke again: "Alright buddy, I'm willing to let you into the city, but under my supervision, is that clear? You'll be coming home with me tonight and we'll figure it out from there, because frankly I need this job and I can't go home myself until my shift's over, got it?" She was certain that he'd struggle or attempt to get away. She had basically just threatened to take him back to her home to do god knows what with him, which may or not include letting him go on his search mission. He probably thought that she was crazy, or that it was a trap...

She considered his question for a moment, then said "Ehh, sit wherever you want until my shift's done. I have..." with her free hand she pulled out and glanced at a small, sleek device that appeared to be some sort of communicator, then continued "...about an hour and half left on duty, then we can head out." After a few minutes of silence, she began to feel somewhat annoyed and nervous for some reason, and decided to speak: "I'm kinda surprised that a little guy like you hasn't found a way around the wall to get into the City yet. She was pulled out of her absentminded message-checking when the tiny boy made a statement about her not exactly being the guard type. She continued to look down at the boy, filled with both confusion and curiosity towards him: he really was a tiny little human of some sort...She almost jumped as he began to speak in a small but audible voice, which only piqued her curiosity more: how could something like him speak so perfectly? She was no scientist, but she thought that this seemed almost impossible. However, there was no time to ponder things: the boy was moving away from her. "H-hey, wait!" without really thinking, she got to her feet and closed the gap between her and the retreating boy, putting her foot down in front of him as gently as she could, not wanting to hurt him. She then attempted to continue, in as calm and stern of a voice that she could muster: "I have some questions I wanna ask you."

((okay, so I'm playing the guard then? Alright, then let's do this...LEEROY JENKIIIIIIIIIIIIIINS! ))

As soon as Gary saw the creature his heart sank: he had NEVER seen a creature that nasty around this part of town before: the worst he had ever had was a human-sized slug that kept moaning to be killed, which he had obliged to, but this, THIS was too much! He took off and attempted to find one of the hidden emergency entrances to the Middle Ring, the better part of town, but the creature's tail blocked his path at one point and he heard a growling hiss, which caused him to panic, drop his weapon and take off in the opposite direction, his strong military training allowing him to deftly dodge around piles of trash and scrap, but certainly didn't give him the mental foresight to realize he was running farther out into the junkyard, not towards safety. He soon found himself surrounded on three sides by mounds of garbage and scrap metal and, turning to go back in the direction he came, he was greeted by the massive snake-person thing. He drew a knife that was on his belt, but, after taking a quick glance at the puny four-inch blade in comparison to the creature's thick scales, he realized was futile. He dropped to his knees and lowered his head in submission, then spoke in a solemn, accepting tone: "Well, I've got nowhere else to go: you've won. Do with me what you please, but I ask of you one thing: make my death swift." He was surprised that he had suddenly spewed something almost eloquent: where the hell had that come from? Guess people do weird things on their deathbeds, he figured.

((oh...well i misinterpreted your description as being flipped. no worries, just let me re-write this real quick...))

She slunk along the ground, attempting to remain as hidden as possible, despite the fact that the only thing between her and city beyond was a measly single guard, but she knew better than to underestimate smaller creatures: the scars and pock-marks of experiments and encounters long past were all she needed to be reminded of that. She moved as quietly as she could, her human upper half doing most of the work, as slithering on her back half would have created too much noise on this junk-covered, variant ground. She soon found herself rounding the corner of a large pile of junk, a mere 20 feet from the guard, her body tensing and preparing to strike out and capture him, when her tail caught on a jagged piece of metal, causing her yelp in pain and part of the pile to slide away, revealing her completely. The guard turned and saw her, and she hissed out of frustration, lunging at him anyway, hoping to scare him off...

She slithered after him, having some trouble catching up initially thanks to uneven and trash covered ground grating against her scales and her new wound stinging as it brushed against the ground while she pursued the man. She soon found that he had stopped, trapped somehow, pulling at his leg trying to get free. She rears up on her snake body a bit and reaches down, picking him up in a single clawed hand, wincing a little as he cries out, his foot in pain from the sudden harsh pull out of whatever had him trapped, but she quickly regains her composure. She looks down at the man, he light brown cat-slit eyes glinting with combined curiosity and something akin to hate, but she seems to show no signs of outright murder on her mind. She smiles darkly, revealing a mouth full of sharp human-like teeth as well as two auxiliary fangs, each filled with potent venom. "What's the matter little guy? Weren't expecting to get chased today? Well, don't worry, it's not in my agenda to eat you or anything, actually I have something to ask of you: any way I can convince you to open up the gate for me? I have some business to attend to in the city."

"Um... wh-wh what type of business in the city?" he asks as he rubs his wounded leg, looking up at the dark smile, he looks at her down to up suspiciously, almost pausing at her breasts and woman hood but resuming looking at her face, she was a giant among us, and probably could have easily opened the gate if it was not partially rusted on one side and needed the lever to be opened...

Her smile faded as she heard his shaky words and saw him reach for his wounded leg, which she felt responsible for. She watches as his gaze slides down her body, pausing at her breasts, prompting her to pull the makeshift cover she has made for them, a mess of sewn-together bits of fabric which managed to warp around them decently well, much like a tube-top, over them more securely. She found that being stared at , even by a small man like this, was extremely uncomfortable for her and snapped at him rather fiercely: "Hey, buddy! My eyes're up here! And as for my business, I have some people I want answers from, y'know, the ones who dumped me out here to die instead of owning up to what they made."
