Description I've been meaning to draw more variations on what I consider a Mimic for my story Kingdom Tails. So the first set I'm showing off is the design for a King Mimic and a Jar Mimic.

-Mimic Bio-
The Mimic is a clever creature that over takes objects like chests, jars, vases, crates, and sometimes weapons or jewels. It does so as the denizens of the world generally are attracted to these items and thus the Mimic attacks when they get close, open them, or pick them up.

Without the protective cover of these objects the Mimic is a formless monster. It's body is adhesive which allows it to attach pieces of objects to it. The Mimic's saliva is corrosive providing it with a way to break down nearly any material and rearrange them to form cover. This saliva is by far the most dangerous aspect of a Mimic.

Mimics are not extremely intelligent, but they can learn and adapt to different situations. Which is the reason for the different types and why they choose different objects to inhabit.

By far the most dreaded of all Mimics is a set named the King Mimic.

My brother once wrote a song about mimics. It went like this.

Don't touch that chest! It might be a mimic!
With long sharp claws and one big eye!
Don't touch that chest! Don't you even try it!
'Cause if you do, you just might die!

In any case, it's always nice to see different people's takes on something like a mimic. Ever tried drawing a WALL mimic? ...or four?

I've not had a chance to sit down and do much with kingdom tails, but I really want to. However I would like to try other variations, though those found within my little series take more to items in which are bound to be picked up/touched.

Yeah, but if you make the walls, floor and ceiling mimics, then EVERYTHING'S dangerous.
