is holding a contest. The deadline is Sept. 1st. Tomorrow!I completely forgot I had entered until I saw a reminder from him. So off to scour the hard-drive I went. I've had this done for several weeks and figured I need to post it.
I went with the old school Bat-Girl from TV costume. I think it turned out rather well. This version is the original line art provided by I also found a version where I tried my inks over his lines. I'll post that when I have some free time to get it finished.

EDIT: Forgot too mention - WACOM and Photoshop - I'm uncertain how long it took but I would hazard a guess at about 36 hours.

For the texture I used a "spatter" brush and either a darker/lighter shade of the same color or used the burn and dodge where I needed it.

Nicely done, great colours and her cape looks awesome. Not keen on the background though, I think even a very simple hand drawn one would've been better.
