Description
This picture is part of a series I have made on The fortress of Breendonk (Belgium).Belgium has not been spared the horror of Nazism and its concentration camps. The fortress of Breendonk is a moving and striking example.
This torture chamber was furnished to make it possible to subject members of the resistance to βa third degreeβ. The furnishings were sober but efficient.
