Description
A piece of fan art I was working on since yesterday. Not quite done just yet. Lots of little details to add.Needs some critiquing because I have hit a block
Fact of the day - Mouse Guard (more info of which may be found here - [link] ) is a graphic novel by David Petersen. He does some outstanding illustration work. I highly recommend you read or buy the book.

Ya, apparently the government was going to shut down. But an agreement was reached, My only problem is that Granholm is constantly bitching that she has to clean up the mess than Engler left. But that 5 years ago...honestly...

you need more detal on the fun, like when light hits the fur and some more shadowing. the leaves, you coloud also put more lighting onto them! overall for a WIP i love it! its soo cute, yet very adventerous!

I love his expression, and can imagine a swishy sound when extracting that sword and facing courageously the enemy....

I tried to capture the flavor of the original artists style. Personally, I really like the leaves

ummm to add more details I would suggest more detail on it's fur and golden reflexes on the leaves

I agree. I need to make the fur look more furry. Perhaps add some more texture to the feet to give them that 'rustic' look as well.

Thanks! It was a pretty good story all in all. I also really enjoyed the artwork. I was hoping to capture the feel of the original artist. I actually am going to add more details to this piece once time permits.

Furthermore, the wrinkle-faced bat is so hideous that it developed a flap from the skin of its throat with which to hide its face from the world when sleeping.

The story is kinda neat, if you havent been to the site already, it's about mice coping in a world where they are essentially the Frito Lays of the animal kingdom. They even have bee trainers!
