Description
This drawing I started a long time ago (maybe april 2010), and after corrections and corrections I finished today.. Samus, one of my predilect characters.
Tried to create another concept not so distant of the nintendo's originals..
Used to study lighning, reflection, materials speculars.
Hope U like it

You guys can imagine how I'm grateful! This is my first DD and its a good way to start this year!
Doing Samus took me much time but I was determined in make it a special piece. All feedback the dA community is giving is important to me. Thanks people!!

the gun was a problem.
I make some sketches with the gun bigger but I want to show the chest at maximum.
perspective doesn't work as well because it lost sillouette.
so I did this way. not so good but not so bad..

hmmmm well lets see maybe lengthen the torso to make room for more width and length in the gun, just a tad cause u gotta keep her shorty and a cute. Im sure you have wrestled with all this already. I hope u pursue this redesign and send it to... I think it was midway that makes it lol.
