Description
This drawing I started a long time ago (maybe april 2010), and after corrections and corrections I finished today.. Samus, one of my predilect characters.
Tried to create another concept not so distant of the nintendo's originals..
Used to study lighning, reflection, materials speculars.

You guys can imagine how I'm grateful! This is my first DD and its a good way to start this year!
Doing Samus took me much time but I was determined in make it a special piece. All feedback the dA community is giving is important to me. Thanks people!!

Ha, this is simply brilliant. A lot of times Chibi Smaus can be hard to pull of well, due to her proportions and detailed suit. This is perfect, excellent style and overall composition!!

I didn't like the the zero suit too..
I like the part of history where she get the suit from the chozos.
Take off the suit have no sense. Samus is not a body model.
Think on engineering and the technology on the suit makes me happy.hahahahha

I know, right? Originally, Samus was a symbol of heroism, being one of the first major female protagonists, and she was LETHAL! Now because of them adding the Zero Suit from Zero Mission in Smash Bros. we have the "fan service Samus" that everyone is so eager to draw rather than the heroic Samus from long ago...
