My entry for fall celebration contest. I chose to do Samhain. For those who don't know Samhain is what most people know as Halloween. Its kind of like a pagan New Year that celebrates the harvest celebration. One of the traditions of Samhain is that people would walk their livestock between two bonfires in hopes that they would be blessed with a prosperous year. Aaaaand honestly since I suck at pixeling fire I left that part out lol. Anyways Enjoy!No base used
This was my first pixel cow lol I wanted to end my own life after finishing it. Not 100% happy with everything, but overall I think it works.

I am not a Pagan, I guess I would be called a theologist of sorts. I study all religion, but don't practice any of them. I've always been especially fascinated by the Pagan religions.

That's great, though. Glad to hear you are at least intelligent enough to research theology. I study all religion as well but do practice Paganism, but eclectic Paganism. I.e., one of the main gods I worship is Ganesha (Hindu god.)

Being eclectic has always seemed like a good way to go in my opinion. I'm one to not believe in confining yourself to one strict set of beliefs. Religion has always seemed to me about finding inner peace and we as people should not dictate who's religion is or is not right. If you believe it then it is right. Just my thoughts lol.

That is exactly what I believe. What I believe may be exactly what happens to me, and what someone else believes may be exactly what happens for them. Or neither, or just one. I don't know. I'm not saying I'm right in all that I believe, I'm saying it works for me and it is personally right. And I think that's really all that should matter as long as I'm not hurting anyone else. "An it harm none, do what ye will."
Oh man, I always avoid religious / sexuality / etc... discussions because it seems that no one can hold an intelligent conversation but I just wanted to say "thank you," because I've really enjoyed talking to you!

Love the attention to detail in the folds and hair. My only problem with this is that there's way too much dithering between shades. Instead of dithering around every part of the shading, maybe just try in areas where there would be more shadows, such as the bottoms of folds.

I love it that you chose Samhain as opposed to Halloween. I've always been more of a fan of the original meaning of All Hallow's Eve even though here in Europe we celebrate neither. ^^

Thanks so much! I figured everyone would be jumping at Halloween and I've always found Samhain to be more intriguing... well old religions and traditional ceremonies in general lol. I'm such a nerd, I spend my free time learning about various religions, for no reason other than I love to read about them.
