Those of you who have been watching my journals may know that I'm watching a continuing Let's Play of the third game in the Danganronpa series - Danganronpa: Another Episode. How does it hold up so far? Well, other than the main villain, Monaca Towa, being my new most HATED character in all of media (even worse than APC Ren Hoek, Davey Stone and Mr Pickles) and noticing some glitches in the game on the Let's Play video, it also has my new favourite female character in all of media, Komaru Naegi, it's really improved Toko Fukawa's characterisation into one of my Top 15 Favourite Danganronpa character, and the story so far holds up really well - and to the defence of the scary moments in the game, the game REALLY knows how to keep suspense up and bring out the true terror of this post-apocalyptic setting - the survival horror aspect used here is great.
And considering the fact that all four of the Warriors of Hope, Masaru, Jataro, Kotoko and Nagisa have practically heightened the state of the apocalypse, the game does a great job of managing to elicit sympathy for these children by detailing what caused them to break down and go on a homocidal killing of adults. I mean it, Nagisa and Kotoko in particular are two of the most tragic characters I've ever come across, and unlike Monaca, who is just SATAN in the body of a child and has been manipulating their tortured childhoods for her own selfish satanic goals, I actually think are similar to my feelings towards Simon Keyes from Miles Edgeworth Investigations 2 - if given the right help and support, they could very well turn over a new leaf. (In fact, who wants to see Usami help out these kids? She could be like a godmother to them )

That, and it's great to see numerous Monokumas all over the place - and they still crack me up, as sadistic as they are.

But when watching the Let's Play in Chapter 2, THIS came into my mind - did the children take inspiration from Problem Solverz when making this children's paradise? It looks pretty damn saturated, doesn't it? (But upon further thinking, this setting is nowhere near as eye-meltingly awful as Problem Solverz )
