Duftmon X was revealed to be the mastermind behind the spread of the newly modified X Program. He also received outside help from an unknown entity, who has an even more horrendous plan in store. Both Duftmon X and his partner-in-crime are also responsible for the sudden appearance of an enigmatic digital lifeform which closely resembles Alphamon. It is up to the surviving Royal Knights and the two Amethyst Guild members, Dorugoramon and DinoTigermon, to stop their plan once and for all.
