Whoa! That's a lot to read! But thanks for sharing your opinion! And although I don't really like Lucemon Falldown Mode's somewhat feminine face, I can understand what they are going for. After all, the figure Lucemon is based on is said to be the most beautiful among the other angels in the Bible, and angels are also generally androgynous. As for Lucemon Satan Mode, my only nitpick is that he should have had 7 heads to drive the reference of the Dragon from Revelations even further. But I am already content with his current design.

For starers there are not female angels in the bible, all of them all beatiful males and Lucifer (who Lucemon isΒ based on ) was stated to be the most beatiful and wisest of them, andΒ as you know Japanses people think Males with femenine Facial features are beatiful.... thier culture is quite different, that is why bishonen are quite usual in anime.
I can give ignore his lack of seven heads,Β since he .bears the seven Crests of the deadΓ±y sins so he actually "Has a seven" in his design and the Gehena (the orbΒ carried by SAtan mode) is named after the word used in the judaism for "hell".
Recent Videogames rewrote Lucemon and the rest of the demon lords as the literal embodiment of Evil across the mutiverse, which makes the Lucemon from frontier is just anΒ "avatar" of his true form.

I believe angels in Bible are supposed to be genderless. The way humans see them are based on their own perceptions. So Lucemon's look still works. Not to mention that he's basically like Frieza in Digimon form.

I read that angels being genderless is a misconception, from a text in the bibble that says something like "there is no marriage between angels" which most people interpret as "angels are genderless" even while they are described as males, I suppose you are right, they can perfectly have masculine appearances while being actually genderless just like digimon do.
I think Freezer is a great comparision since he has femenine manerisms but he is still a menancing villain.

I was actually refering to his English voice, which makes him sound more like a little girl trying to sound like a man. His Japanese voice is without a doubt the best. And I don't actually mind a villain with a pretty face. But for Lucemon's case, I think he looks WAY too feminine, especially the lips. I could understand him being a representation of Lucifer/fallen angels who basically look androgynous. Too bad most people don't. That kind of ruins his image as a villain and makes him become laughable.

Actually, the English dub just can't do Digimon intros and credits right. They should've just kept the originals and put subtitles on them like other anime dubs.

Oh, I've taken Lucemon seriously since the first time I saw his Child Level form. Cute and supremely deadly.
