I would drink to that. Problem is this piece is not mended together very well. Rather loosely there. Other than that it looks nice. I'll never know how you got that much Silver or could afford; but nice work!

there wasnt much - about some 200 - 300 grams. & it was actualy mended strong enough every brunch was with little "brunches" whouse penetrate the coconuts outside.

but it is not small also... see - all staff was soldered, so the tree it self is empty. made of plates about 1mm thin.

make them feel rufnes of the sandpper, heat of the polishing kits & motors, in the end it is smooth like that one on the picture

Awesome idea! I love the twist of silver and coconut, I don't think I could have ever came up with this combo. This totally belongs in lord of the rings or something similar to that. But yeah, this isn't jewelry, it should be in sculpture or metalwork, at least for your main tagging.

Polished coconut is pretty cool....
I have a cup somewhere with carvings in it....
I thought it was wood until someone brought it to my attention that it was in fact coconut...lol
Lovely work... The silver goes so well with it...
I prefer the look of silver over all other metals...

Even Tungsten metal? The most popular, strong metal used in jewelry with an everlasting shine?
THAT metal is great. You don't ever have to polish it or do anything. Had mine for two years and could still see my reflection.
You should check it out.

Hmmm.. Why do I not know what this is? it's vaguely familiar...is it on the elements charts??? I will look into it... There is also an underlying thing for silver... it is the ONLY metal that I am not allergic too.....

I think tungsten is "W" on the periodic table... think.

johanalee In reply to Xolaroid [2009-01-14 15:17:44 +0000 UTC]
You are correct I looked it up.... Also, got a weird fact... Tungsten used to be called Wolfram on the chart...and is primarily used in the fillaments in electric lamps.... it is also the most resiliant and anti corrosive of all metals.... Very cool indeed...

Xolaroid In reply to johanalee [2009-01-15 02:24:41 +0000 UTC]
thats probably where the W comes from, since most elements have the letter come from old names (eg. Iron = Ferric = Fe)

Ah... Very cool... That's right iron was ferric....
