I always felt Lando was just as cool as Han Solo, but without having to worry about a companion's well being (like Chewbacca); and thus he could be a little more daring with his escapades. Because of that, Lando was always a character that I felt could have been used better. Anyway, here's my take to go with the other Star Wars characters.Related content

Lando's story prior to the events of the Main Trilogy was told in three novels:
Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu
Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon
Lando Calrissian and the Starcave of ThonBoka
In all of these books, Lando has a robot navigator namedΒ Vuffi RaaΒ who serves as his version of Chewbacca.
