The misty looking sky combined with the misty looking see and a long pier. This place looks really mysterious and it makes you feel like it's a place where something terrible might happen. Just by looking at this photograph you get a feeling that something might really happen even though you know it's just a picture. The choice for going black and white enhances this feeling, I think.
It was definitely worth getting up early enough to get here!

What wouldn't a photographer do to get the pictures he/she is aiming for. For a true photographer I don't think there are all too many things they wouldn't do to be able to fulfill their vision.
