yup im having some hard times with the foam right now >.< made a mistake and it expanded more than i wanted so it deformed a bit some parts of the weapons and made a mess on the shoulder guard of the vangis set but still doable haha. im really glad you do like the way i work because not kidding here some divas even told my work was something common when no one else here have used something similar so it just pisses me but also its a lot of fun haha. great to hear you have that set on your char . haha no problem and yeah cardboard still rules xD

Lol yeah the foam is kinda tricky, it's even more of a bitch to clean up if you spray too much, my backyard is still completely messed up haha, I just came back from working on the sword frame for the last 2 days.

Also, people said your work is common? I haven't seen anyone make a weapon that big ever, you are literally the only person to make an Akantor Broadsword that i've seen so far, I remember playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite 7 years ago and wondering if I could ever make it, and I didn't think it was possible until I saw your work.

I've been lurking on this website without an account for a while and most of the stuff I see that gets popular here is basically girls wearing skimpy clothes, and that's cool they can do what they want, I'm all for sexy looking chicks, I just wish people like you who make unique designs got more attention, kind of a shame that really cool shit doesn't get as much attention as it should here, I'm not even into cosplay, I just like making designs and blueprints, you do a great job making stuff look exactly like in the game it's crazy.

And yeah, Idk why I thought you were using ramen cups lmao, that'd be pretty funny though

good luck cleaning the backyard xD. yeah some people said my work was common but you know those kind of diva people and all started because i simply wanted to change how cosplay awards where given since here there is 0 respect for homemade suits, most of the people who have won didnt made their cosplay they are just "cute" and got a good tailor while the ones who made some really good cosplay never gets an award and that sickens me >.< . i have seen 1 other akantor broadsword but it was like 50% of its size but i have seen like 5 more akantor sets better than mine . im just like you im in favor of sexy cosplay but also of great cosplays and wish to see more of them often.

And I know exactly what you mean by those awards being given out. It kind of sucks that many of these judges don't realize how much work goes into handcrafted shit and just automatically give the paid models who wear skimpy outfits (which I think is fine, you do you whatever) a higher score and they usually end up taking home the prize.

Not gonna list names, they obviously work hard too but it sucks that people who make all these things handcrafted are overlooked because of "cute" or "sexy" cosplay, I just wished that you guys got more recognition.

Good attempt, but doesn't look anything like the sword, like his armor though, yours is way better because honestly it looks completely like it was straight out of the game. Size, detail, I actually like the paint because it's a darker color then the original which was kind of lightish blue...? I like the blacker color scheme, goes better with the red.
