Description
Calypso and Blacephalon dancin'!Cal received Blacephalon from Ultra Recon Squad members Dulse and Zossie. The Ultra Beast had become stranded on Earth during Lusamine's ultra breakdown (lmao) and despite multiple attempts to reintroduce it to its home world, it was unable to fit in, and perhaps even seemed to like Earth.
Needed special care due to its strange nature as an Ultra Beast, the two went to the most well-known Pokemon Caretaker in the Alola region -- one who took care of any pokemon, no matter the type, size, or demeanor -- Calypso Hanalei!
She has done her very best to train it; it seems to enjoy play rather than battle. It really enjoys using the move Mind Blown to cause havoc!
But overall, the two have bonded well and Clownie enjoys being in Cal's presence, so it made its welcome to the team nicely.
Why Clownie?
"It's a total goofball, and clowns around! Duh...not to mention it's aesthetic! Perfect name, huh?"
I love Ultra Beasts and wish they had more lore. I doubt it'll ever come back up, but Eternatus would have been a great example of an Ultra Beast! Xurkitree is pretty epic too...
