Description
The Ancient Droid was an extremely dangerous droid found in the ruins of the Abject Testament, a ship that belonged to an ancient race that crashed on the planet Alma, an icy planet in Wild Space, eons prior. The ship was discovered by Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi of the 501st Legion and 212th Attack Battalion, and supplement general, Ahsoka Tano of the 332nd Company when their Venator-class Star Destroyer crash-landed on the planet's surface along with the Separatist Providence-class Carrier/Destroyer, The Society's Wrath. Before the Jedi and clones made it to the ruins, a battalion of battle droids would make it there first and accidentally reactivate the ancient droid, which would then proceed to destroy the Separatist forces with lightning and beam-based weaponry. By the time the Jedi and clone survivors made it the ancient ship, they would split up to search the ship for supplies and a possible way off of the frozen world. However, the Republic forces comlinks would blow-up with reports from Clone Troopers being killed by the Ancient Droid. Initially, the Jedi and Clones thought their comrades were being killed by Battle Droids until they found the mangled remains of the Battle Droids. During their investigation of the damage, the Ancient Droid would reveal itself and kill several clones in the room, along with CC-1119: Commander Appo. When, Anakin engaged the droid, his lightsaber would be deflected by the droid's shields. After multiple failed attempts to stop the droid, CT-7567: Commander Rex, suggested that if they can't shot it or cut it, maybe they could crush it with parts of the ship. The Jedi and remaining clones would manage to detonate a large portion of the Abject Testament and smash the ancient droid to pieces. Afterwards, the survivors would find the ship's communications center and signal for rescue, which would come several days later.
