I've been... processing a lot, I'm not going to lie. Way too much to get into in a single post, not to mention that I doubt anyone would want to listen to me anyways. But my hope with this piece is that it conveys my emotions more than words ever could. So this is my main character of the story I'm writing, Latte, and he's an albino raccoon. In... way too many ways, Latte reflects myself. To the point that a lot of the fears I've been dealing with, a lot of my own personal faults, and a lot of my vulnerabilities have (either intentionally or accidentally) shown up in Latte. But as all of my faults are reflected in him, I think some of my own strengths have cropped up as well, and this is maybe my biggest strength. Finding beauty in unexpected places. Seeing something small and perhaps insignificant to other people, but seeing some value in it personally. Seeing things for what they could be, not for what they are. My personal hope, my biggest dream, is to continue growing. Not just as a writer and an artist, but as a person as well. I can never truly get away from my deepest fears, and my problems will probably nag at me as long I live, but I believe... no, I know... It'll be alright. This is who I am. And there's nothing wrong with that.
