Description A troodontid recently described from the Upper Cretaceous of Utah. [link]

Since the specimen appears to have an injury in the sickle claw of the left toe, I imagined Talos hurting itself accidentally while kicking a snake secretary bird-style. Of course this is completely speculative.

The eye-spot on the tail makes me think of the ones on a peacock's train. I wonder if he'll use it for the same reason.

Hey! May be you could do something like that. A mating dance! That would be something to see!

I really love the coloring and markings of the tail. I enjoy the russet-brown-cream scheme for birds and maniraptorans in general, it's one of my favorites and you can do a lot with it.

Just a tiny bit of critique, I think that the inside of the animal's right hand and wing could use some darker shading to make it look more distant and three-dimensional.

Really glad you liked it! Yes, this colour scheme its between my favourites too, and for all we know is more or less "accurate".

And thanks for the tip. I already edited with some changes in the feathers and arm. I feel like it still needs some more work though.
