Another cloak commission! And three more coming this week! CRAZY!I'm really pleased with this one though... I LOVE the buttons! And the brown gabardine for the outside is incredibly rich and soft. Maybe a little nice for a peasant, but I think it's rugged enough.
Custom design, no pattern used.

I love all of your cloaks: but this one, I think, it's especially nice. Nothing too fancy or complicated, just plain brown cloth and the very pleasant, original idea of the crossed laces on the front. Nice job!

This is really cool. I love the idea and the buttons are very different. Making something like this is certainly beyond my skill level at the moment, but I hope to someday be able to sew at a similar level of skill. You did a great job.

I wish I had some sewing skill; I know the basics of cloth goes here, press pedal to make machine go, and don't miss your guidelines, but I've never been able to make anything more than a tiny stuffed pillow! I'm going to go through the rest of your page now. ^_^

As to sewing, start with simple things, like pillows and pillow cases and slowly work your way up! The only way to get better is to practice a lot! And have a good seam ripper...
