How do you know the other eye isn't derped? >:3 Sadly, no, no comics. I just felt like changing the facial expressions a little might help to add some more character. The recolors are done mainly for reference or just to get a general idea across in a simple manner. But it can get boring if there's no variety aside from the colors. So I plan on using certain expressions for certain color palettes. I'd like to do the same with everypony but it's tiring so currently only a handful on ponies are using different expressions. About the most expression some of the others see is flipping a smile around into a frown. It's lazy but whatever. I is a very lazy.

Lazy is good. Okay, no it's not, but it doesn't completely ruin lives for eternity, which is, so yeah. As to the derping: were it to be appropriately derped, then the eye we do see would be looking either slightly upward or slightly downward, depending on the pattern of derp. Meaning either 6.9, we see 9, or 9.6, we see 6. If that makes sense. 9.6
...I put way too much attention into detail, don't I?

Drat on the no comics; something tells me you could do a pretty interesting job...anything specific you don't feel like doing? I could probably help out. Occasionally. Like once every four blue moons or so.

I'm still not sure if I want to derp all the eyes on ponies in Derpy's colors. Derpy's recolors will be derped unless the recolor is a Derpy clone with normal eyes. But even so, I'll still probably get a lot of "derp the eyes!" comments. I suppose I could derp both sets.

In regards to comics, I stay pretty busy as it is and likely wouldn't have the time to do them. About the most I could do comic-wise is to vector someone else's artwork. Maybe someday...But for now I'm focusing on recolors.

Personally, I think the best way to go about it is to think like you're tapping the pony whose colors and mark are being used. So Derpie Pie would get Derp-eyes, while Pinkie Hooves would be smiling really big and toting a party cannon. But that's me.

Alright. If you ever get time and urge on it...actually, nevermind. Don't ask me to do story work, we'd update slower than VG Cats.

I'm no good in the joke department. And the things I do feel would make neat jokes, I rarely ever make. Every now and then I'll do something silly like my Derpy animations, or that I Scream, You Scream picture. Without a tablet, I can't draw panels myself so I'd be stuck vectoring someone else's art if I were to work on any comics. That's fine mind you if I have the time to do so. But like I said, I's focusing on recolors for now.

I don't think anyone's good in the joke department. Well, comedians. Vectoring the artwork of others seems to be going pretty well so far. And roger that on the recolors, I'll let you know if my offer closes out! Regardless of what is to come, this ought to be good.
