I really like firefly's design. I hope they bring her back sometime, even if it's just as a background pony.

I'm only 16 so I was never around for Firefly..But I kinda wish they'd bring her back..Maybe as an RD relative..Only RD and Fluttershy(that I know of) of the mane 6 don't have parents...You get to see Pinkie's and Twilight's when they flashback to how they got their cutiemarks.And in the Sisterhooves Social episode you get to see Rarity's parents.We know Applejack has Granny Smith.So what about RD and Fluttershy..It makes me upset that they possibly don't have a mom and/or dad.

They probably have them, they just haven't been shown yet. Remember season three is on the way so they still might show up.

Well if Hasbro is anything like Valve..There's not going to be a Season 3..But I highly doubt Hasbro and Valve are similar in anyway. xD

You got her spot on, but you should say style instead of design, because she didn't pick out the colors herself, because Firefly was a g1 pony.

Yep. Applejack is the only pony to pretty much look the same as she was originally designed. All the other ponies started out as G1 versions (Fluttershy was Posey, Pinkie Pie was Surprise, etc.)but when Hasbro brought Lauren Faust aboard they had to tweak the designs since Hasbro no longer owned the rights to some of the G1 ponies. So the Dash we know is pretty much Lauren's version of Firefly with a new set of colors and name.

Though I think Dashie's design actually comes from the G3 Rainbow Dash. It's uncanny
