YET ANOTHER EDIT: Lineart cleaned up for you viewing pleasures

MORE EDIT: Wow. There must be a lot of Maximum Ride fans there. Just so everyone know, I'm coloring it on photoshop and hopefully will put it up in, oh, the next five months XD
By the way, does anyone know what exact color Max's hair is? I've heard brown, blonde, brown with blonde highlights... And if anyone knows what colors the wings are, it'd be great too
NEW EDIT:I accidentally left out the logo thingy this time, but at least it's clear.
The Logo just says Maximum Ride, James Patterson.
EDIT: crap, it's really fuzzy. I'll try and get a clearer picture soon, but I probably won't update for a long time.
I rarely ever do fanart, but Max and her gang are just too awesome.

No, I never got around to that! I was never very good at digital coloring. You are free to take it and do as you wish as long as you credit me with the lineart

A long time ago I came across this picture in a Google search and liked it so much that I coloured it. (Don't worry, I haven't put it on the internet or anything, that would be plagiarism! D:) I really hope you finish it someday, because it's a beautiful picture! It really embodies the flock for me, so much more so than the ridiculous manga they've made. It might not even matter anymore since this was posted so long ago, but Max's hair is BROWN. There seems to be a lot of misconception about this, probably due to the fact that 1) the Max in When the Wind Blows and The Lake House was blonde, 2) when the flock went to New York, Max had her hair dyed blonde with pink streaks (-ish? I think) and 3) the artist of the manga seems to have had the same misconception, because she's in blonde in the MR manga. It is mentioned several times in the books that her hair is brown.
All that aside, this is awesome!

I believe Max's hair is brown -probably shouldn't quote me on this, going off of memory- with a red undertone, which is seen under sunlight, (described by Angel). Though, throughout the series her hair has changed. In the first books she was simply blond, then her hair was described as brown, brown with highlights, and so on. Her eyes are brown, and I believe her wings are like a hawk's (not sure.)
Iggy is a blond, blue eyes, and his wings are like an Albatross (a large sea bird)
Fang is the typical tall and dark - black hair, black eyes, black wings.
Nudge is dark skinned, I believe black/dark brown hair, with tawny wings
Angel is blond, blue eyes, white wings
Gazzy I believe has blond hair, blue eyes, but his wings are like a barn owl's.
Again, going off of memory, it's been about three months since I've been able to pick up a Max book T____T

Angel is the latest release, though I'm still hung up in Fang, because a character I don't like was introduced (I don't like him because a friend let slip some plot spoilers) and I haven't been able to read through it, but I will soon x___x

She had her hair dyed, so it was brown. But they needed disguises, so now it's blonde.
