It made me think of the Archivist searching through one of the many wasted cities on the Surface. He rides a motorcycle (and he alone must care for its maintenance) and must also wear protective gear against the lingering radiation.
(The Archivist is the main character in my upcoming scifi book.)
Babiru is an interesting name. We know how the story of the Tower of Babel ended. The cultural differences made it impossible for mankind to join efforts and build God's work on Earth due to differences in understanding one another. And those differences were represented by the many languages they spoke. Β
