What's the Idea behind the pistol on the right? To me I'm thinking it would work like a cross between a "Maul shotgun", and an "m320 grenade launcher".

Hehe, I believe the guys at MIT had developed a bipedal robot that mimicked pretty well the movement of the human body. First step towards the robot infantryman? Future will tell.
Anyway this is pretty well done. Great concept work.

Magnetic Armor-Piercing. Exposed electronics don't get along well with magnets.

I did National Army Service in the late 80's in The South African Army (I was actually a gunner in the SA Artillery). The rifle we were issued with was the Galil SAR. Over here we called it the R5... kick ass little weapon that! Nice photoshop job!
