This is amazing. I been following lot of your works lately... How do you do this? Do you have like a massive collection of HD textures? Do you 3D parts of it?

As I wrote it in the description. It is a photobashing. I mix several photographs and I merge them with some brush strokes.

Ahh... Never heard of it (well with not that term at least) but... I don't understand the method in itself. So is everything we see part of a photograph? So all textures and objects exist as their own objects. So you got huge collection of good HD pics of things that you then connects in a form of huge collab?

I always liked the idea of mechanical infantry. At least with machines, there's absolutely no insubordination, loss of morale, etc. All that needs to be supplied is power, ammo, and maintenance, whereas with living troops, you need basic rations, shelter, ammo, large quantities of medical equipment, and eventually more troops.

Cost-wise, mechanical troops are more expensive due to the amount of technology and resources needed in order to mass produce them, but in the long run may prove less expensive when compared to human troops.

Only problem: What if whatever radio they're receiving orders from gets the command frequency spoofed?

Then they'd start doing some pretty odd stuff I guess.

There's a saying in the schools of warfare "Amateurs study tactics, professionals study logistics." whether that's true or not, logistics still play a huge part in any battle, because if you can't get troops to where they need to be with what they need to win, you won't win, simple as that. The biggest problem with machines is that they require far more logistical support to operate then biologicals, and supply lines have historically always been far easier to target then armies in the field. So lack of insubordination and morale really aren't big enough advantages to replace biologicals with machines. No matter how advanced the machines are, unless they become absolutely indistinguishable from biological in every regard, in which case they might as well be considered biological, a biological can and will do the same job as a machine with far less support.
