I personally felt Violet got off the easiest. Out of all the kids, she gets the best benefit.

Agustus: Just got coated in fudge and slightly slimmed down.
Violet: She became blue and flexible. She'll probably go on to become world champion in even more fields.
Veruca: She fell into trash. What could be worse for a rich person?
Mike: Basketball champ my ass. He'll be lucky if he's not blown away by a light breeze.

Sure, Veruca got the least severe alteration, but Violet got the most positive end result.

You know, in retrospect, it seems Mike got off the lightest. I mean, sure he was shrunk, but he wasn't blueberrified, thrown into the furnace, or turned into fudge. I mean, he's smaller but otherwise, he's none the worse for the wear.
