This image is a color preview page from HEROIC #1 with art by Aurelio Mazzara and colors Dustin Evans (that's me) story by Jason M. Burns concept created by Brent Erwin of Ape Comics! This is the "Silver Age" version of Heroic and the coloring style is meant to look like an old 70's style comic. The book is super unique and features golden age, silver age and modern day looks at a super hero. Stay tuned for more on this project!-Dustin Evans

I love it. The flat planes of color and the dots are delightfully old school, but the lighting effects are a lot more modern. The combination is superb!

Thanks, Mike! Exactly, I liked the idea of giving it the vintage feel but still borrowing some modern day FX to mix in there. It's a nice nod to the silver age with a fresh take. Glad you dig it! This book is going to be epic.
