I've never understood the wincing/contact lense thing. I wear cosmetic lenses every day of the week and have no trouble putting them in. I just cram it under my eye lid, close my eye, then look at it. It pops right on. No blinking or watering and it takes seconds.

Contacts and Draneis really don't go together very well (I think the pupiless eyes are part of what make them so damn sexy), but you do draw them very nicely.

I'm rather envious of how you do the volume of hair on your characters. However, I do find some amusement in fantasy creatures having their fair share of real-world problems like putting contact lenses on. Kind of reminds me of that Alien Loves Predator comic where Preston the Yautja finally admits to being nearsighted and has to wear glasses for the rest of the comic series.

If it's possible, may you send me a tutorial on how to do mid-length brunette hair, please? I have a character named Kristy, and I'm not too satisfied with how her hair comes out; I struggle with shading and highlights for brunettes.

1. Draw some hair-shaped blobs on character's head.
2. Get Megan to ink it for you.
3. Bask in the admiration!

Well the first thing to do is look at lots of photos and copy them. Or if you have the correct hair length, draw yourself using a mirror. Better yet, sit behind people in class or in church and draw THEM. it helps

Considering contacts are very important to me (I have to wear RGP-lenses to be able to see at all), I found this very amusing. ^_^

those are some interesting contacts, usually they would and should form to the shape of your eye and rest comfortably over the iris. Either she had weird eyes or weird contacts. XD
