As if the waves were accepting all the years of bleeding, dismally covering a pale body of hers with a gown of freezing icy foam and raging splashes, sucking out the remnants of life, absorbing her drop by drop, till she was getting dissolved in that falsely consoling fury, on a path to annihilation.
The prayers to the sea were heard, however not as was predicted.
The sea hadn’t purified her mind, it took her. Wholly, completely.
The roar of waters became her voice, the hum of hidden deadly torrents from within – her endless song of bitterness, injury and malicious grief.
Instead of blood the leaden cold waters filled her veins. An ancient testament of replacement and requital, a liquid for a liquid.
And so she turned into the call of wretched seas, the one who awaits for the blood to feed the depths. (c) Dust of Reason
