Phéarel is very quiet and collected and always keeps a cool head no matter the situation. She meets every new person with entrust and suspicion making her seem like an indifferent and uninterested person. She doesn't really care much for the people she meets and would rather prefer to watch from afar than engage in shallow conversations.

Therefore it is hard to get through to Phéarel on an emotional level. She is very rational and takes decisions based on observation rather than based on emotions. In a way she refuses herself to give in to feelings and has built up an internal separation between what she feels and what she thinks.
Phéarel is a perfectionist and is very critical on herself in this matter. She is a hardworking person, that was also clear in the days where she was just a simple leatherworker, her works were always done flawlessly. She is a proud Dark Elf and is loyal to her city, her race and her Queen. History:

Phéarel was born as a second child into a family of leatherworkers and started helping out at their leatherworkshop at a young age, by the age of 27 she was a fully instructed leatherworker, working full time in their business.
In the following year Phéarels father got severly ill and couldn't continue working anymore. Her mother reduced her working hours to take care of him. Money was spend on medicine and low-grade doctors. Phéarel and her older brother, Rohven, both doubled their working time, but with two workers missing it was hard to keep up the commissions and repairs. They soon had to cut down their already strict food expenses. The business wasn't going good as well, people were buying less and so their income decreased as well.

By the same time Phéarel got involved with an underground thieves association who offered her money in exchange for her stealing various objects from households. Phéarel, thinking about how much they needed the money, decided to take the offer. At first she was wasn't fending off so well, but the frequent company with those 'new friends' soon showed some results and Phéarel found a strange liking for lock picking and sneaking. The extra money indeed granted them the possibility to have three full meals a day again and they finally could afford better healthcare and medicines. Her father healed within weeks and could work again.

For the following 4 years Phéarel continued her secretive meetings with those folks and nightly thievery till one night she had to steal some documents from a nobles' house. Unfortunately though she got caught by the owner, who immediately alerted the guards. Just in that moment a hooded figure appeared seemingly out of nowhere, killing the owner and a guard. The hooded figure though left Phéarel alive after seeing her and escaped before the rest of the guards could appear, leaving her there to be found. Phéarel hadn't been able to see his face but she had caught a glimpse of a relatively big white scar on his hand. Just when the rest of the guards were about to find her, Phéarel managed to flee through the window as well. After this she decided to finally step out from the thieves, as she didn't want to repeat the mistake of the night before. The thieves though weren't happy with her decision; they obviously didn't want her to leave for various reasons...

A couple of days later a man came into Phéarel's leatherworkshop and asked for repairs for his leatherbelt. The stranger gave off an odd feeling and Phéarel guessed he might be the hooded figure she encountered that night during her failed mission, he also had a whitish scar on his hand, which resembled the one the hooded figure also had...

Two nights later the thieves tried to set fire to the leatheworkshop but Phéarels brother, who had been working late on a project saw them and tried to stop them. Rohven lost an eye on the struggle, the invaders escaped still managing to set on fire half of the leatherworkshop. That episode caused turmoil in her family but none of them suspected who it could have been, but Phéarel knew and hated herself for having dragged her family into it.

When the man with the scar came to take his leatherbelt back Phéarel confronted him, telling him she had a vague idea of him and what he probably was and that she needed his help. The man evaded every assumption she threw at him skillfully but gave her a dagger telling her that if she really wanted revenge and get rid of the threat she was on her own since she wouldn't even have the money to contract an assassin anyways.

Phéarel couldn't believe she was actually thinking about intentionally harm people. She was confused and moreover scared for her family, she would never forgive herself for what had happened to her brother and the workshop. She went to talk to the thieves but they weren't in the means to negotiate. Threatening her to do more damage to her and her family they told her how they had set fire to the workshop and hurt her brother whilst pointing their weapons to her. Driven partly by revenge and partly by self-defense Phéarel found herself holding the dagger in her hand and in the next moment she had already driven it deep into the eye of the thief nearest to her. The rest joined in to fight against her but Phéarel countered them and in a rage she killed them all.
Upon realizing what she had done Phéarel felt repulsed by herself. How could she go home like this? Did she actually enjoy it? Why? Phéarel decided she had to leave, she had to find out what had gone into her and who she really was. In the same night she wrote a letter telling her family she would be gone for a while not knowing when she would be back in Reluir.

She spend 5 years wandering through the Empire, stealing her way through life, taking on minor works, sleeping under bridges, till one day she found the hooded man from back then again in Song-Lu. Phéarel talked to him explaining how she feels and asking him to show her a way how she can live with herself knowing she had ended peoples' lives fully aware of it. The man, who is called Dûon Eldir, in an act of pity shows her the only way he knows: The way of the Assassin. So Phéarel stays in Song-Lu to get trained by Dûon. After 20 years she went back to Reluir where she joined on recommendation from Dûon the Queen's Assassins. It has been 30 years now since she joined the Guild.

Current:

Phéarel has been living fine under the guilds tutelage, following orders and occasionally keeping an eye on the dear Princess of Reluir. her views and concerns lie mostly with her own country, not much interested in the war Koben is leading against Miras. Exceptions are the rare snippets of information her Master, situated in Song-Lu, confided in her to pass on.

The heavy blow when the princess Lorna betrayed her guards to seek help in Koben was followed by the abrupt declaration of the Queen to possess Iadlain. During the events of Possession Phéarel's Mentor, Dûon Eldir, lost his life in a tight situation to protect his young student's life. Along with multiple severe injuries, physically and mentally that Phéarel acquired, his death hit her very hard, harder than she could have imagined. Up till now she hadn't realized how much she had started to care for him and loosing him like this was something Phéarel still has a hard time processing, blaming herself for having been inattentive and sloppy.
Nevertheless, soon after Phéarel got assigned to a new mentor, by suggestion of Gillroy. Her name is Molly Dubane, a stern and grumpy Sage.

Phéarel still remains on the side of her country, even more after she witnessed in close proximity the actions of the adabrene poison against her kind during Firefall

And much to everyone else's surprise she too was totally disconcerted at the sudden sight of the great creature that the Queen has summoned in Ambition . Confused and kind of starting to question why the Queen would resort to this and especially how long she had been planning this, Phéarel is inwardly faced with decisions and a situation that is way out of her league...

Half blinded, wears a bandage around his eyes. Your typical sibling relationship. He is the outgoing one of the two siblings. Very charming and charismatic, he liked to tease Phéarel, as any respectable older brother. Also showcasing the obligatory jealousy towards her younger sister. Even though Phéarel always reacted annoyed or ignored him sometimes, she treasures Rohven a lot. Phéarel will never forgive herself for what has happened to him because of her own misshapen. Currently he tries to help around the workshop as good as he can, not being able to 'see' anymore is for sure a huge drawback in the business.
  Post-Playing Gods: Shocked, hurt and devastated Rohven follows the call of his God. His fianceé is also by his side and together they both ascend!

Phéarel's Mentor
Veteran member of the Queen's Assassin. Dûon is an old drunkard sunny person with a silly smile plastered on his face. He is a very present figure in Phéarel's story as he taught her everything she knows now and had also taken her in in Song-Lu for 20 years. Dûon remained situated in Song-Lu for informational purpose of the Guild and also as a flexible unit to use. Having been so long in Song-Lu he automatically picked up a few things of their culture including experimenting with different fighting styles of the region, which he later passed on to Phéarel.
They have a rather funny mentor student relationship, him being sunny and optimistic on the outside strangely complements Phéarel's cool headed demeanor. He often joked with her and she accepted nearly all his traits with causality. Having spend a very long time together Phéarel has come to know every side of Dûon's personality and came to deeply care for him that she can't remember a time where she didn't knew him, taking up an important presence in her life.
Post-Possession:
Dûon unfortunatly died during the events of Possession. His death has struck Phéarel hard, she hadn't realized she had cared for him so deeply and as such Phéarel is coming to maybe grasp what all the things Dûon had been telling her actually meant...

Molly Dubane - Sage; 317 years, Dark Elf
New Mentor of Phearel/Post-Possession
A stern and grumpy Sage and an old member of the Queens Assassins. Molly is the new Mentor of Phéarel since after Possession. They had a bit of a rough start, due to the injuries Phéarel had suffered in Possession, rendering her more or less useless in Molly's eyes. The sage also is disappointed in Phearel's lack of magic senses. Exasperated as this start was though they very slowly would start to get used to each other's presence and soon enough Phéarel would ask Molly for advice as well.
Post-Ambition
The trust tPhéarel had build very slowly towards Molly sadly ruptured after the events of the Queen's Ambitions. Choosing to follow her Mentors ideals rather than the Queens direct orders resulted in a turmoil in Phéarel's objectiveness. Phéarel regards Mollys decisions with crude skepticism and will restrain from following her advice any further. The relationship slowly evolved backwards and they are drifting apart

Dimel occasionally likes to visit Phéarel to just exchange thoughts and keep each other company, though she still keeps a respectful distance to him. Yet she came to realize, despite his noble heritage, he also has had his fair share of bad days in the past, and can relate to him.

Dimel having shouldered the weight of the Princess betrayal makes her feel uncomfortable and as though she had failed to fulfill her duty...

Iarlaith O Ciardha
Young colleague of same rank as herself in the guild Phéarel felt instant liking in the nature and character of Stitches. She enjoys his 'not so friendly' remarks and actions, and also relates to him as of in social awkwardness. His company is always very welcome to her, since they both mutually understand each other without the need of much words. Never doubted his skill either, despite him having lost an eye and an ear, and is indeed very fascinated in his fighting style as to frequently ask for sparring and training times together.

Lorna Gallanreul
Princess of Reluir and soon to be crowned Queen, Phéarel has the typical distance and respect expected in front of her. Rarely would she show her more casual side to her and tends to make neutral statements. Phéarel first needed to get used to Lornas smiling and naive soul before she could come to understand her. After Starfall though Phéarel had started spend more time with the princess and developed a sense of caring and protection towards her. They spend some evenings together when Phéarel was still in the castle after some missions and Phearel genuinely enjoyed listening to the Princess.
Post-Possession So it even more hurt when the Princess betrayed them all to escaped and seek help in Koben. It felt like an out of the blue hit for her and Phéarl still, even after their re-encounter during Firefall, has   a hard time understanding Lorna's reasoning behind her actions and what she wanted to achieve.... Phéarel is bound by the Guild so for the time being their paths are severed... maybe someday... they might rejoin...

Almha Mag Aoidh
Childhood friend of Phéarel. Both their families are leatherworkers and their friendly 'rivalry' and mutual respect for their works had brought these two families closer together since generations. Phéarel often visited along with her mother the shop of Almha's uncle. Her quiet nature contrasted Almhas very open and playful attitude and she remembers fondly those memories. Recently Stitches had visited Almha's shop again and Phéarel recognized the handcrafting immediately...After meeting Almha again it is clear the two have developed in different directions and it is partly Phéarel's fault since she kind of cut ties, but they both seem to want to rejoin.

An old and known Guild Member, well established in the Guild's ranks, Dimel is a superior to Phéarel and she respects him greatly. Dimel occasionally likes to visit Phéarel to just exchange thoughts and keep each other company, though she still keeps a respectful distance to him. Yet she came to realize, despite his noble heritage, he also has had his fair share of bad days in the past, and can relate to him.
Post-Posession:
Dimel having shouldered the weight of the Princess betrayal makes her feel uncomfortable and as though she had failed to fulfill her duty...

Iarlaith O Ciardha
Young colleague of same rank as herself in the guild Phéarel felt instant liking in the nature and character of Stitches. She enjoys his 'not so friendly' remarks and actions, and also relates to him as of in social awkwardness. His company is always very welcome to her, since they both mutually understand each other without the need of much words. Never doubted his skill either, despite him having lost an eye and an ear, and is indeed very fascinated in his fighting style as to frequently ask for sparring and training times together.

Lorna Gallanreul
Princess of Reluir and soon to be crowned Queen, Phéarel has the typical distance and respect expected in front of her. Rarely would she show her more casual side to her and tends to make neutral statements. Phéarel first needed to get used to Lornas smiling and naive soul before she could come to understand her. After Starfall though Phéarel had started spend more time with the princess and developed a sense of caring and protection towards her. They spend some evenings together when Phéarel was still in the castle after some missions and Phearel genuinely enjoyed listening to the Princess.
Post-Possession So it even more hurt when the Princess betrayed them all to escaped and seek help in Koben. It felt like an out of the blue hit for her and Phéarl still, even after their re-encounter during Firefall, has   a hard time understanding Lorna's reasoning behind her actions and what she wanted to achieve.... Phéarel is bound by the Guild so for the time being their paths are severed... maybe someday... they might rejoin...

Almha Mag Aoidh
Childhood friend of Phéarel. Both their families are leatherworkers and their friendly 'rivalry' and mutual respect for their works had brought these two families closer together since generations. Phéarel often visited along with her mother the shop of Almha's uncle. Her quiet nature contrasted Almhas very open and playful attitude and she remembers fondly those memories. Recently Stitches had visited Almha's shop again and Phéarel recognized the handcrafting immediately...After meeting Almha again it is clear the two have developed in different directions and it is partly Phéarel's fault since she kind of cut ties, but they both seem to want to rejoin.
