So, I wanted to set things straight starting with the MLP: FIM season 8. That is the season that according to some fans that is basically not canon. However, looking back at that season, only one stands out like a blister on my thumb. That is actually the season 8 finale called, "School Raze". Let's take a look at it. That magic started to disappear throughout Equestria. However, the students discover that Cozy Glow had a deal with Neighsay. But the real kick to the teeth is when Sandbar and the CMC discover that Cozy Glow was responsible for all the magic being drained. So, Sandbar reunites with his fellow students while the CMC disatract Cozy Glow. The students set out to rescue Neighsay from the wrath of Cozy Glow. Then they headed below the school to save Starlight and bring the magic back into Equestria. The real shocker is the Cozy Glow locked the CMC in the closet. Then she gathered all the students to turn against the Student Six. But what happened next does not make sense. The Tree of Harmony went active to save the students from the vortex. This does not make sense why the Tree of Harmony was active. How it should have ended is that the CMC burst out of the closet, went below the school and pulls out the artifacts from the magic circle. This caused all the magic to return to Equestria and frees Starlight and the Student Six. So, now that was out of the way, Cozy Glow was then sent to Tartarus for her crimes. So, this episode is actually a buzz burner. It's because that episode may have been tampered with. I actually noticed that the two-parter was written separately. That is what I saw with the series finale as well. I believe that sometime after the Shadow Play two-parter, Hasbro decided to split the two episodes with two writers. Now as for the series itself, I do think that there is a reason why Cozy Glow came in there in the first place. It started with Twilight and her friends making the School of Friendship. I do think this may have been Twilight's biggest mistake. This one event in season 8 actually lead to a string of disasters that struck Equestria. The big example was King Sombra returning that the Tree of Harmony was destroyed. All of those disasters led to the events of G5. So, to make sure that there won't be any more catastrophes in the show, I came up with season 11. This will be the season that will fix the show from the events that happened in season 8 & 9 of MLP: FIM. I also believe that one of the quates from the Knights of Friendship in the season 10 comics could predict the events of G5. Another thing is that book that Sunburst had at the end of the episode "Uncommon Bonds" that help our main characters find the Pillars in "Shadow Play" cane reveal the most important detail about the Elements of Harmony. So, if you read, "Crusaders No More" it will explain what happened after the events from that episode. Hopefully, the CMC would help the Mane Six in season 11 instead of being nowhere to be found in the series finale. So, what is your thoughts on this? Why did the Tree of Harmony go active?
