Description
This is the first of many drawings in a series I'll start.I am a fan of the Terminator series, more T1 and T2. I was always intrigued by the very short scenes of the future when the human resistance rose up to fight Skynet, lead by John Connor. How everything was so grim, but yet, the humans didn't give up and still fought with hope to carry on with humanity.
This particular drawing is a female officer in the K-9 unit branch. Probably one of the more important units out there. Since the discovery of infiltrator terminators, K-9's are the only thing that can pick them out.

I don't think your gun, that can only shoot bullets, is going to do anything against a Terminator since they didn't do a thing to it in as shown in the films... where is her plasma gun?

Speaking of which, imagine a robotic canine unit on your side. I bet one of those would make a great companion and protector. Nice work.

Are dogs of all thingfs really an asset to the Human Resistance?
What are they are gonna do, bite the Terminators? Their jaws would break upon contact with the titanium alloy of the Terminators.
Also, given Kate the Annoying Wonder's appearance in "Terminator Salvation", yes, T3 happened, wether we like it or not.

Thank God I thought I was the only one who prefers only T1 and T2! Most retarded idiots these days are so stupid all they care about is FX eye candy and never mind the plots. Yes, this picture is interesting. I've already favorited it, and I will be keeping an eye on you.

James Cameron's touch in movies are always great. It is hard to mess with originals. I run a pen/paper RPG campaign based off the human resistance surviving against Skynet weekly. She is one of the characters, as well as [link] [link] [link]

Nice, her uniform reminds me of a Imperial officer uniform and the dog looks worried.

Thanks for the comment. I new some of the tech-com soldiers wear those military caps, but I wanted to keep her uniform simple. And Cougar, her dog, is more cautious than worried.

yes to all. d20 modern with the post apocalypse supplement. Then there is a free PDF download online for weapons and Skynet units with advanced classes.
So yes to all of them. We have been playing the same campaign for about 2 years.

after two years, things get complicated. Most of the story takes place in the midwest, away from the major battles between Connor and Skynet. So the pockets of survivors are a bit more numerous (not much, but more than CA). The thing they also have to worry about are Road Pirates that makes the party's life a bit harder. It makes for a good story arc, and potential allies.

great job.
Seems like the new trology will be set in the grim future(putting it in a weird place since it's a sequel but also a prequel in a sense). Understandable since T3 ended with J-day happening.

Yeah, i figure sooner or later, we will see a certain kyle reese jump into a time machine right after the t800 jumps in.
I have four to five more drawings based on the grim yet hopeful future. i just have to finish coloring them.
I tend to believe that T3 really never happened since it had contradicted so many novels and comics.

Granted, some of the comics contradicted the movies too. I just think of as miltiple alternate timelines(With the resistance's and skynet's constant time travel multiple timelines is not hard to belive).
Resse will be in this one by the way as a teen(or young adult)wich must be wierd for John since this will be the first time he meets him and he's older than him.

Yeah, I think thats pretty much explains it. The Sarah Connor Cronicles has John observing Kyle playing ball when he was only 6 or 7 playing with his older brother Derrek Reese.

Sweetness!!! lookit the puppy! Great work on that.
One thing though - the light (I'm guessing the yellowness) is coming from the right - but the shadows are also pointing in that direction - when shouldn't they be going left? O.o'
Nice choice of background! Really like the red sky too

Thanks for pointing that out. I was doubting myself on this as well. The ambient light is coming from the left, but there is an explosion or fire coming in from the right. It was a lighting experiment, but nevertheless, this is trial by error.
BTW, I'm greatful for the critique. I can take what I can get......

Hmm... might make sense then with the explosion/fire - if we could see it.
WALLPAPER OF IT! Hehe, jk.
I would suggest then, perhaps - 2 different sets of shadows? I dunno.
Trial by errors can be fun - you did a great job imo!
I'm always hesitant on critiquing others... but I try and help when I can. @.@
