Description Photo:
Look closely and you can see the horse's hoof on the bar.
Did they knock it down?
More like, killed it.
In my opinion, she looked much like a crayon that day.
Sorry, the quailty is less than perfect.

Those are very yellow pants... and it looks like the horse just galloped over it, didnt even notice there was a jump there...
Amazing action capture...Great Job

I don't think it did. xD It killed the jump in the end.

i'm really confused as to what they were trying to do exactly.... looks like they just flat out galloped over the jump and the rider was just sort of hanging on. but the pose is awesome and i love the action... plus the colors are good for keeping attention off the bg.

Thank you, and I have no idea how they happened to manage this one myself. I think he sorta hopped too late and tried straightening out over the jump.

OMG, did the horse even MAKE an effort to jump?

Heheh, how many pieces of splintered wood did you have to pick up

lol, thankfully this was made of plastic, and I wasn't the pole-setter. xD
And I don't know exactly what the deal with this one was.

Wow, you got your timing like exactly right for this shot! I didn't know you could jump in a western saddle. I always though it would hurt alot, ya know? With the horn and everything. May I ask why they're jumping in that saddle? LOL I'm verrry curious being a hunter/jumper myself!

Hehe, thanks.
Yes, it's possible to jump in a western saddle. If you're out and trail and there's a log in the way, what other choice do you have? But it can be VERY painful if you don't land it right.
And they're jumping in a western saddle because this was one of the events at my gymkhana. The rest of the events consist of things such as barrel racing and pole bending. This is the only jumping one.
