Oh god, I had an alcoholic old teacher once who admitted to drinking before she graded our finals. She was also a racist, but the school wouldn't can her because "she had tenure", which apparently translates to "too old to be held accountable for anything".

Yeah...many bad teachers cruise along with the protection of tenure. None of them were the bad kind i wanted to punish me though. Authoritative hair, glasses and a crop whip? Yes please!
