Description
This is my half of an Art Trade with the incomparable Katy Rewston. I've been incredibly honored to have now done trades with my two absolute favorite Fantasy/Equine artists - Katy and Mia (see my pic 'Heat - Rings of Fire'). Wow.And - not to toot my own horn *toot toot* - but I'm damn thrilled with how this one came out. Look ma - it's a background! *chuckle* Definitely my best Unicorn/equine to date... A touch more realism than some of my previous work.
The character in this picture is Katy's Enigma... A character she plays at an MSN Groups RPG called 'Children of Alma' (and damn me, but I dont' know how to do HTML, so I can't do the link! Argh). Katy also RP's with us at Unicorns of the Vale (my home away from home *snicker*) and she's going to be working on my character Gearran from there. (No rush, btw, Katy. I was just in the 'zone' tonight... and got this done).

verynice! luff the coloring! i really like the motion of the mane, but the tail could stand to be more..... wispy i supose. they are very beautiful, but the highlights look ...............fake, i guess. they are better on the tail on actually showing a rippling movement but it seems flat.
might i comment though on the incredable shading and color blending?

the mane, tail and beard look a little flat but WOW. The body is amazing and that horn is to drool for! Excellent work!

Only thing I would reccomend is making the highlights in his man, tail and beard a little more irregular so they look more natural
Must add this to my favourites along with some of your other pieces, you're one talented girlie!
