Ohh almost forgot... if you want to download that installer, right click and click save as. Its a self extracting shell archive which browsers try to open as text.

The nsq3 icon i made using the marbles template and the original nsq3 icon. In fact if you download the linux installer for nsq3 you should receive that icon. If you want it i can just email it to you as well.

For the drop shadow what did was:
Took a screenshot of the desktop
Opened the bg image in Gimp and i pasted the screenshot I just took as a layer over that. Then I selected the entire area of the top bar and then selected the bg image layer and added the drop shadow to that. So The actual bg image has the drop shadow on it.
Its a dirty hack but visually it works
